Bushpass
Working holiday · Australia

An app. Not an ebook.

Forget the $49 farm-list PDFs and the Instagram coaches DM-ing you their “secret contacts”. Bushpass is a proper app with the two things you actually need, side by side: a daily feed of live job ads pulled from public boards, and three illustrated atlases of farms, mines and roadhouses to pitch yourself to when nothing’s posted. With an 88-day tracker, a tax calculator and an AI mate bundled in.

No funnel, no upsell, no “DM us for the spreadsheet”.

The backpacker scam scene

You’ve already seen most of these.

Every WHV cohort, the same five products show up on your feed. We made a quick list, because if we’re going to charge you for a tool we should at least show you what it isn’t.

What they sell

The usual suspects.

  • The $49 PDF with “100 secret farms”. Most are copy-pasted from Google Maps.
  • The Instagram coach with one season under the belt, a tractor selfie and a Patreon link in bio.
  • The Telegram “VIP farm group”. Same five farms, two hundred backpackers, all spamming the same email.
  • The TikTok bloke promising a farm in 24 hours. Conditions apply, mate.
  • The Facebook reseller flogging the same outdated spreadsheet for twice the price.
  • The “visa coach” who isn’t a MARA-registered agent and isn’t allowed to give visa advice.
  • The hostel that gatekeeps the farm number and takes a cut on the side.
  • The Linktree funnel that charges you twice and ghosts you on the third email.
What we built

Boring, transparent, bought once.

  • An actual desktop app. Real software, sold under a registered Australian business.
  • A daily feed of live job ads from public boards. No “secret list”, just public ads tidied up.
  • Three illustrated atlases of regional employers. Public contacts only, hand-curated, also available offline.
  • An 88-day tracker built from the published Specified Work rules, not from a TikTok story.
  • A tax calculator that always shows its working.
  • AI features that tell you when they’re guessing and never pretend to be Immigration.
  • The web app is free for everyone, ad-free, no DM funnel, no Patreon, no “mentorship call”. Plus (twelve bucks) unlocks the desktop app if you want bulk mail.

We’re not saying every backpacker on Instagram is dodgy. We are saying the ones flogging a $49 PDF with farms they pulled off Google probably are. Save your forty-nine bucks for fuel money. Bushpass is free, and Plus is twelve bucks.
